2bn Contracting was founded in 2021 by Theresa Ortiz, who has over 20 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, including 12 years as a project manager. She started her career with a degree in Architectural CADD, but soon realized that her true passion lay in construction management. As a woman working in the field, Theresa saw firsthand the need for women and minority-owned suppliers and subcontractors. She wanted to help others achieve their full potential, so she decided to create her own consulting and contracting business. The mission of 2bn Contracting is to provide reliable services to the construction industry while also creating opportunities for women, minorities, and the disadvantaged. Theresa understands the struggles of making it in an industry where women are underrepresented, and she wants to use her experience to help others find their strengths and achieve success.
